While chuckling over the idea of Stephen Colbert running for president, all of a sudden I was struck with an idea.
The only place he is running is South Carolina. What better way for the electorate to send a loud, clear message to both parties by voting for Stephen Colbert either on the ballot or as a write in. I think the Republican Party needs the message the most. Most people I talk to about this subject are very dissatisfied with the current crop of candidates (the so-called second tier not included). The media and party hierarchy seem determined to nominate a social liberal. Voting for Stephen Colbert in the Republican Party might finally get it through their skulls that we don't like what they're offering.
Then they can finally start paying attention to a serious candidate that deserves our support such as Mike Huckabee.
