A Shot Across the Bow

This horrifying account in WorldNetDaily ought to wake some people up in the United States. It concerns how a pastor is being ordered by a Canadian "human rights" panel to be silent about homosexuality. In essence, he is being ordered to renounce his faith.

I certainly hope this provokes a huge backlash among Canadian Christians and traditionalists. More than that, I hope it opens peoples' eyes here in the U.S. as to what the radical gays have in mind for us.

Word of warning to them and like-minded government bureaucrats. You won't have such an easy time silencing us. You'll be told in no uncertain terms what you can do with your "orders."

We are just being inundated with this, aren't we? Very sobering story, along with your previous post.

It's maddening. It amazes me that 5 percent or less of the population can somehow manage to cow and intimidate the rest of society. It's easy to blame the media and public education, but I think it goes deeper than that.

A society that's abandoned biblical truth begins undergoing the judgment of God, and Romans 1 tells us what happens when God "gives over" individuals OR society.

I'll go you one better; a Christian society that has abandonded walking the narrow path, abandonded obedience for personal success that has allowed these inroads. How many would walk away from a career because it requires them to be "tolerant?" Persecution? We have no clue!

I hope that pastor will contest the ruling in court. Here we have lawyers who take on causes like his. Perhaps they have a similar Organization in Canada?

I am not sure. I have friends in Canada who read this blog on occasion. Perhaps one of them could chime in?

Sola, I believe that it is federal law in Canada that a pastor can not preach against homosexuality from the pulpit and has been for quite some time. That pastor is going to have a heck of a time fighting this one.

Excellent job bringing this stuff out for us to see.
