Obama the "Law Professor"

(Credit: AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster) Updated 6:55 p.m.

The president has been waxing, huffing and puffing at the Supreme Court these days, further illustrating evidence that, if he was a Constitutional Law professor, he needs to (in the words of my friend Dr. Ron Gleason) go back to his university and demand a refund.

I find this event reported by ABC yesterday delicious, personally. Mr. O shot off his mouth about judicial review, trying to take a shot at Republicans who typically stand against judicial activism. In Obama's lexicon, judicial activism means only court rulings that get in his way.

Thanks to a federal appeals court, Mr. O will get a chance to wipe the egg off his face and explain what he thinks the courts' powers actually are. Boning up on Marbury vs Madison might be a good beginning.

I love it!
